Congrats Soul Mate

As if I didn't already tell you a million times, Billy Joel is my soul mate. He, I, and Dennis Campbell were all born on May 9. As Dennis Campbell has said before, "May 9th should be declared a holiday due to the fact that three great Americans were born on this day."

Anyhow, Billy Joel got married...to a 23-year-old.

(All I know is that if in 4 years I have some crazy idea to marry a 55-year-old, I hope one of you will smack me.)

My Junior Prom Date with Nader

Patrick and Nader! If I went to University of Miami then I could be cool and have pics of Nader also. I miss Patrick, he's handsome, eh? I know he's racking up the girlies down in Miami. Haha, I wish I still had our prom date picture from junior year. Let's just say he thought it would be cool to wear a powder-blue vintage tux...

This Weekend Better Not Suck

A Few Updates:

I just spent 3 hours in video productions class. We discussed why the lighting on Kerry sucked last night. Now I will spend 3 hours in acting class. (Please insert gun in mouth now)

My roommate is amazing because I walked into the room to hear her blaring a playlist entitled "A Little Bit O' Christine" that I made for her last year. So far I've been rewarded with Her Space Holiday, Les Savy Fav, The Shins, Franz, The Unicorns and the Killers....way better than the Indian music I was forced to hear during the production I taped this morning in class.

I'm mad tired. If you see me, take pity please. One of my favorite people in the world called me last night. Yes it was 2am, but I didn't really care. Last night he and I made our agenda for CMJ:

1. run around NYC
2. drink
3. make-out
4. go to shows
5. dance

Yes, CMJ is roughly two weeks away...get excited people! I don't think everyone in the station is as excited as me, because not all of them get to go. I think they are just jealous...but in reality I think most of them are worried I'm not going to make it back to Cabrini in one piece.

Tomorrow I am giving student tours all fucking day. If you see me please do not yell out "Hey Bitch!" "Suck my dick" or any other obscenities. The prospective students and their families don't appreciate that humor as much as I do.

By the way, my buddy Fullerton said the most amazing thing last night:

"I think I tend to dislike any thing that is revered by music snobs, like when someone says "did you hear the new Xiu Xiu album?" I'm like "Fuck you for starters, I'd rather listen to Good Charlotte"

Yes, Fullerton is awesome! He also was the one who got Dogs Die in Hot Cars and the Arcade Fire to me...You all wish you had a friend half as cool as him.

AND the worst news of the day is that Amanda is leaving for NYC, what am I going to do all by my lonesome this weekend?

This is my boxer, Tyson. I love this dog more than any of you.

Homesick...Who Me?

So today I was on the phone with my buddy Justin from Planetary. He lives in Boston and totally has no idea about South Jersey in the least bit, but he was still ragging on it.

And after the conversation I started thinking about home and how I should return to visit my family and my dog. (I fucking love my dog...he's the coolest canine in the entire world!) I mean I probably won't go back until after CMJ, and that means I won't come back for at least 3 weeks or so.

Then my old friend Jon from back home gave me a call tonight and bitched me out for not keeping in touch. I really tried to explain the truth, its just that I'm too busy to come home. And besides, I'd rather forget about everything in South Jersey...it just plain sucks there sometimes.

Here's a picture of my parent's lovely house in Jersey. Yes I live about 5 minutes from the beach. No you may not come and visit me unexpectedly and think you can use it as your "summer vacation home." No, you may not stalk me either.

Even if it is the very southern tip of Jersey, one of the most boring destinations EVER, I still miss home.
